Developing high fidelity equipmet is not just a technical exercise indeed. Just a pure engineer is supposed to fail, due to the missing link to the artistic approach of a music reproduction system. The artist misses the method and skills to achieve the sound quality he may dream of. There are very few people unifying both abilities and characters in one person. Those people are needed for defining the artistic goal, create a technical thesis and reproductive scientific method. This way an engineering team can achieve outstanding musical perfomance through technology.
